More color behind the screen, please
Universal Pictures is set to distribute five multiethnic films produced by John Singleton ("Boyz N the Hood," "Four Brothers" and "2 Fast 2 Furious"), the first of which will center around a Latino mother and son. Despite this positive news, minorities are still vastly under represented in executive positions in Hollywood.

  • Jorge Enderica has been appointed to the position of Director, Business Development & Hispanic Marketing for Old Mutual Financial Network (OMFN). Mr. Enderica will lead all sales, marketing and operational aspects of OMFN's en Espanol initiative.
  • Robert S. McAdam, Vice President of Corporate Affairs for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc, has joined the Hispanic Media Corporate Council (HMCC) at the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP), a select group of media industry executives who examine Hispanic consumer trends and media research.
